June Campout 2018 Although the weather wasn't the greatest, the location and facility was. The Bar-b-que was a great success, thanks to Joop and Miep. Along with campfires and 'smores we enjoyed an excursion to Stamp Falls fish ladder. Total turnout was 10 units. Stamp Falls fish ladder. Coals ready for 'smores. Layout of the land. Lorne, are you sure about this? This is a great facility. The Sproat and the Stamp rivers join at this spot to become the Somass. We spotted a lot of deer, a river otter and many ducks. Look forward to doing this one again.

In spite of the cool weather we had ten units attending our first campout of the year. The rains held off but the temperature was more like November than April. But as you can see everyone bundled up for the occasion. A special welcome to new members, Dave & Ann Bygrove and Roy & Judith Fedirchuk. Also rejoining the club is Allen & Dagmar Looy. As usual the Snowbirds didn't disappoint. Technical problems cancelled one of their performances but with two shows a day we had lots to watch. Other activities included walks, beachcombing and dinner at the Griffin Pub. Dave and Elaine Burwood, who visited for the day joined us. Other surprise visitors were former members Rick and Lynne Britz. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves. See you in Osborne Bay.
