Happy Islanders RV

First Campout of the season! In spite of the cool weather we had seven club members and one guest and the guest decided to join.  Welcome to Lynn and Laura Lewis. Lots of long walks, beachcombing and an enjoyable dinner at the Griffen Pub. The 'birds If you squint you can see them.  This was the only showing as they arrived on Wednesday and it rained on Thursday.  Better luck next year. Kin Beach Provincial Park  Nice camping spot. Amenities are few (no hookups) but hosts very helpful and friendly.  Griffen Pub within walking distance.  Powell River ferry terminal, Costco and Comox Town Centre nearby.  Hope to see you all at Osborne Bay Resort in May.

Fop, gone but not forgotten. A celebration to reminisce and celebrate Fop's life will be held at the Lantzville Legion #257 in Lantzville at 2:00pm on May 11, 2019.

The Eatery Piccadilly Bistro, April 4 The Eaters, 26 Happy Islanders The food was great and the company was even better.  The Happy Islanders were out in full force.  The follow up?  Let's all have a great camping season.
