Club Rules

Happy Islanders RV Rules
Membership
All
prospective new members must attend one three-day outing before being
accepted by the executive of the club.
Dues
The
annual membership dues will be $20.00 per couple and $10.00 for a
single person to be payable at the Annual General Meeting or at
acceptance of membership.
Maximum
Units
The
maximum number of rigs shall be limited to twenty-five (25) units and
can be changed by vote of majority.
Members
Responsibility
All
members are expected to host an outing, taking their turn, depending
on the number of outings. A couple will be appointed for each
outing. If one is not able to attend the outing, it is their
responsibility to find a replacement.
The
host is responsible for organizing the 3 day outing. The host is
also responsible for all the equipment and to hand it over to the
next host.
Breakfast
is done on a voluntary basis by the membership.
All
members are responsible for the Pot Luck dinner on day one of most outings.
Members
must attend at least four (4) of the scheduled outings per year to
be in good standing. If they are unable to meet this requirement due
to illness or other personal reasons, a leave of absence for up to
one year will be granted.
All outings on the itinerary are valid regardless of where. This includes Kin Beach and McLean Mill.
Breakfast
The
club will provide a free breakfast on a voluntary basis per outing.
Guests will have to pay $5.00 per person for breakfast and dinners
will be charged at $10.00 per person.
All
leftover food will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
Pets
Pet
owners are responsible for keeping their pets on a leash in the
occupied portions of the RV parks and to clean up after them.
Pets
are not to be present at Pot Luck Dinners. All pets are to be
securely tied to their owners chairs, if present at Happy Hour.
Management
Members
are encouraged to participate in the management of the club. We
currently have a three member executive group. Each elected member
serves for a two-year term. The President and the Secretary are
elected in odd number years, while the Treasurer is up for election
in the even numbered years.
